Reseda odorata. This pretty but understated flower packs a punch in every other way. It is a multi talented genus with many species Its is used to make perfume, it roots yield a yellow dye(weld), has a long vase life and the Romans used it as a sedative. Must grow Reseda luteola and Reseda ‘Ameliorata’ next year.
